Celebrating the Mass Murder of Jews

Children honoring a mass murderer while parents look on with pride (VIN)
Why am I not surprised! Palestinian educators seem to be overjoyed that 7 innocent Jews were killed last week by a Palestinian terrorist. They are celebrating it through their children. From VIN:

Following the unspeakable massacre of 7 Jews by a terrorist in Neve Yaakov, elementary schools throughout the Palestinian Authority have held ceremonies to honor the terrorist who carried out the attack.

Sadly, this type of indoctrination of students to glorify the murder of innocent Jews R”L and brainwash them to aspire to become terrorists is a scene that we have come to expect.

Many of the children in the photos below (in the VIN  article) are holding up pictures of the monstrous terrorist murderer along with his name, and are openly praising his depraved subhuman actions. These photos are from multiple different schools throughout the PA.

This is precisely the reason that there can be no peace between Palestinians and Israelis. I don’t think that is arguable.

Now I’m sure that not all Palestinian children are indoctrinated that way.  But I have to believe it is the majority when their leadership, the PA, rewards families of terrorists ‘killed I action’ and names streets after them.

When contrasted to the reaction of Israel to violence committed against Palestinians, the differences could not be more stark. Israel arrests and jails people that kill or hurt Palestinians.

One might argue that there are Jews, (unfortunately some of them Orthodox) that have the same reaction  as Palestinians when one of our people mass murders some of theirs. This is true. One may recall a shrine was erected and dedicated to mass murderer, Baruch Goldstein who massacred Palestinians worshipping at Maaras HaMachpela. That shrine was visited by many Jews who wnated to pay homage to him - considering Goldstein a martyr for the Jewish people and somehow justifying what he did.

The difference between the two peoples is that Goldstein’s ‘fans’ were a small minority of the Israeli people. Furthermore Israel does not reward mass murderers - regardless of whether their victims were Jewish or not. It prosecutes them.

That is how a civilized people should act. That Palestinians celebrate mass murder is inexcusable. No matter what their beef is. Legitimate, though, some of that may be. It’s just too bad the rest of the world doesn’t recognize that cold hard fact.  And instead will refer violence on both sides with equivalency - calling it the ‘cycle of violence’.

That is nonsense and the furthest thing form the truth. Does anyone doubt that the majority of Israelis would be glad to give the Palestinians state if it would lead to a genuine peace where violence against the Jewish people would no longer be celebrated?

True, the right wing settler types and their hard core supporters would be opposed to doing that under any circumstances. But for most of the rest of us (which I believe to be the majority), who wouldn’t be happy to live in peace with a 2 state solution that would see Palestine and Israel having the same relationship that the US has with Canada? A relationship that would be peaceful and productive - generating prosperity for both peoples?  With the exception of  the uncompromising right wing settler types, I don’t think any sane person would object to a 2 state solution like that. I sure wouldn’t.

The late Prime Minister of Israel, Golda Meir was quoted saying the following: Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.

That is as true today as it was when she made that statement over 50 years ago. As long as Palestinians teach their children to  celebrate our mass murder - as they did about the 7 Jews killed last week, a two state solution is impossible. As things stand now it is a prescription for disaster.
